THE SUNSHINE STATE - PHOTOS

Camping beside Lake Guntersville in Alabama

Lake Guntersville & our toy

Hall of Fame

Talladega Race Track

Us in front of Capitol Building in Montgomery, Alabama

Montgomery was where black/white race protests started

In to Florida - and the glorious beaches

Camping at St Joseph Peninsula State Park

Just chillin'

Lots of waterways

And lots of bridges & causeways

Lighthouse on St George Island

View from the lighthouse

Love those beaches

They build right on the beach (and then put walkways over the dunes so as not to damage them! Go figure)

Didn't expect to see bears down here. And no we didn't - just lots of signs

Another lovely campspot - a trifle hot & humid!

Driving through the spanish moss

Back at the beach

Just a few of the many boats

Lots of waterways & lots of cities

Sunset at Casey Key

Jam session on the beach - Calypso

Driving another key - no parking!!

Heading across to Fort Myers

More bridges out to more Keys

Sunset as we head off the Key

The closest we got to a panther! Imagine him crossing the main road!!

The old walking dredge that made the Everglades road

Water water everywhere

More water

And more alligators

And more Tupelo trees
